Civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. sought solace and inspiration in Bimini during his 1964 visit. While staying at the Bimini Big Game Club Resort & Marina, he worked on his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech. Today, King’s presence is honored with two bronze busts on the island, commemorating his profound connection to this tranquil retreat.
